This section has been included because i often feel rather sad when i see a beautiful piece of period glass above a door but with the original door panel missing . Or a wonderful door panel with the side panels long gone .

Now it has to be admited that some victorian and edwardian glass textures can be hard to match up with new glass , but in general a very good copy can be made to extend existing stained glass .

The photographs shown on this page are an example where the customer had both the original door panel and side panels , but wanted a set of stairwell panels . This involved stretching the original design while still  keeping the windows feeling the same .
